Yeah, I haven't even gone yet and I have news.

Long story short, I was going through all the stuff i need to pack as the train is THIS FRIDAY and expo is ON SATURDAY and I am HAVING TROUBLE BREATHING but I decided to check the expo website to see the guest list and...

CRAIG CHARLES!!!! I nearly screamed when i read the name. I must have stared at it for like fifteen minutes before I just ran downstairs and shouted 'OMFGCRAGICHARLESATEXPO' and made them (my familr) all jump but still, you understand how exciting this is for me. I grew up watching this man shouting 'smeg', crashing starbug and sucking face with Chris Barrie. Words cannot adequately impress upon you how significant this is for me.

Moving on, I have seen Star Trek twice now and a friend in my media class is convincing me to see it a third time and i find myself unable to argue why not. My dad is a trekkie, not a proper hardcore one but he grew up watching Mr.Nimoy and The Shatner as Spock and Kirk respectively and I resisted the pull to become a trekkie too... until i saw this movie. In all honesty it is the single most amazing representation of modernised Trek I've ever seen... and it helps I have a major thing for Zachary Quinto. He and Chris Pine... dear god, their chemistry is palpable!!! X3 It makes me smile every time they argue on screen and then watching in interviews where they hug or pat each other affectionately. I even heard Zach say he loved Chris at one point- single greatest interview ever.

Neways, major leap from Expo to Star Trek there...

Moving back, I would like to remind you that while I am at Expo I will be unable to answer comments, notes, replies and such. I am hoping to have a good time (nay, a fantabulous time!) and will return with photos... that i may or may not share.

My cosplaying has also been reduced to simply Nero. Riku would only get to appear for about four hours on the sunday as and I are getting an early train back and I thought it wouldn't be worth it. Its such a shame but I specifically pulled Nero together for this Expo so Riku will have to wait, he has been to the past three expos so he can't really sulk.

Aims at this Expo:
Get a photo of Craig Charles... maybe an Autograph.
Photo of Ianto from Torchwood, cos I love him!!!
Track down a Spock action figure if possible, I'll settle for Sylar if not.
Get a boatload of new manga.
Tease mercilessly as she can't talk as the character she is going as can't talk.
Stay up reaaaaaaaally late talking.
Check out the expo party that we're a little afraid of. We got tickets but in retrospect i'm not sure why- not really a part person if i don't know lots of people there.
Hopefully... hopefully... maybe, if at all possible, track down a present for 's birthday and also a little present for me. I WANT A... something. Not sure yet. But i want something!!!
